What do you recommend?

Hello all,

After an extremely long hiatus from posting, here is a short and sweet new post.

What are YOU reading that is a classic?
What do you consider classics that do not currently have 'Classic' printed somewhere on them? (Such as Signet Classic, Bantam Classic, Perennial Classics, etc).

I have been reading Jim Butcher's series "The Dresden Files" (currently on book 3, Grave Peril).
I do not consider this to be a classic. It is entertaining though!

So let's hear it... what do you consider to be classic AND have you read it this year? Are you reading it right now? How many times have you read it?

While I find the collection incomplete, and the emphasis on Americana too great, I must recommend the Harvard Classics Collection. I already posses a copy, but, it is surprisingly affordable on ebay, 0ften less than four dollars a book with shipping, eg. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130662911894?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1431.l2649. Best of luck in your reading and collection!

I think it depends on the readers on what they want to read that night.
